A 100 year lyrical feast cataloguing artistic response to conflicts from the end of the First World War to the present day, Poetry of War is a poignant reflection of the evolution of modern conflict and its human cost. From the ‘war to end all wars’ through the Cold War threat, right up to the Global War on Terror, there are many passionate works to be discovered beyond the school-loved classics of Hardy, Owen and Sassoon.
Progress Youth Theatre, the creative talent that devised The Hidden Truth brings you a story of personal, political and social conflict through the medium of verse.
