Disabled Visitors

Progress Theatre wishes to welcome everyone to our venue, and we aim to be as accessible as we can. If you wish to tell us about any special needs you have, please contact us at the time of booking so we can make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Access to the theatre foyer for wheelchairs is available through the main doors. There is a drop off bay immediately outside the main entrance, however parking is separately available in our small car park at the rear of the theatre, and also on the surrounding streets. Please note that street parking restrictions are in place so you should read the signs carefully, and park only within the marked bays.

Within the auditorium we have one wheelchair space, accessed directly from the foyer. This 'seat', C3, can be booked in the usual way, online or by telephone. Carer's and helpers are welcomed to the theatre so please contact us at the time of booking if you wish to receive a complimentary ticket to the seat adjacent to the wheelchair space (seat C2). This cannot be booked online as it is held as reserved for anyone wishing to book the wheelchair space.

Accessible restroom facilities are accessed from the foyer through the marked door, and signposted from there on. Please let a Front of House member know if you require directions or assistance.

Hearing loop symbolProgress Theatre has a hearing loop system. Please switch your hearing aid to T.

Additionally, if you have a hearing or assistance dog please contact us when booking so we can advise on seating with suitable access.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our theatre.
